BEGINNING BALLET
(ages 7 - 9)
Beginning Ballet continues where Creative Dance leaves off. Dancers will begin to form the foundation of proper technique and core strength that are essential to ballet. Additionally, students will start being taught the etiquette and traditions that are such an important part of the art form.
Once a student reaches Level I they add a character class as a supplement to their once weekly ballet class. This gives the students a fun and entertaining way to work on acting for dancers and learn folk dances from many different countries. Dancers in Level II take one ballet and one character class.

Wednesday Character: 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Students in Beginning Ballet Levels will have a tech/dress rehearsal on stage at the Woodstock Opera House on either Wednesday, July 29th or Thursday, July 30th, with their performance scheduled for Friday, July 31st.
