JSSB’s 2020-2021 session is underway, and all of us are filled with joy at seeing our students back in our studio. This accomplishment would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of JSSB’s faculty and staff, who are working harder than ever to continue providing exceptional ballet training to our students.
To ensure that JSSB was able to open as safely as possible, we adjusted class sizes and developed new health and safety policies following guidelines from the McHenry County Department of Heath and CDC. These include social distancing within the studios, reduced occupancy, mask-wearing, temperature screenings, enhanced cleaning, travel quarantines, and more. These measures are necessary to protect our students and employees, and yet the impact on nearly every aspect of our operations has been profound.
Gifts to the JSSB Response Fund have made it possible for us to welcome our students back to study the art form they love. Your donation today will ensure that we can continue to provide the training and scholarship support they need during the months ahead. Together, we can ensure that there is a bright future for our students and for ballet.
